In multiple locations throughout The Last of Us' world, you'll find board games with references to Naughty Dog's prior titles. This poster is made by the JAK company and has a phone number which is 1-800-555-TLOU and has the url for The Last of Us on it. In the Pittsburgh chapter, you can find a poster about employee rights near the mob attack note. You'll find Jak, Daxter and Nathan Drake toys. Head into the children's room and look on the dresser. You can find multiple other stuffed toy giraffes throughout the game, including in the Pittsburgh toy store.Īfter meeting Sam and Henry in Pittsburgh, you'll find yourself in an apartment. It's a direct reference to the moment later in the game where Ellie and Joel pet the giraffe in Salt Lake City. Instead of following the path, head to the left and you will find a girl petting a giraffe. These include Joel's winter look from the beginning of the sequel and Ellie's Seattle apparel and backpack.įound during the Quarantine Zone chapter, right before where you have your first firefight with Robert's men. There's also a Jak and Daxter headpiece for Ellie, as well as multiple skins based on Joel and Ellie's appearances in The Last of Us: Part II. Ellie can wear the infamous yellow jumpsuit worn by the bride in Kill Bill as well as T-shirts themed around games like Ratchet and Clank, Horizon, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Sly Cooper, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War and many more. These give you the option to switch out Joel and Ellie's outfits, guns and backpacks.Īlthough some of these are just outfits found throughout the game, others are direct references to PlayStation franchises and even iconic movies. During the height of the 1920s Hollywood popularity, nepotism (the act of hiring family members whether they were qualified or not) ran rampant. One of our favorite references is on the window above Reel Vogue. Hollywood Studios pays homage to classic Hollywood by recreating famous Hollywood landmarks, using billboards to convey messages from 1920’s Hollywood and by placing Hollywood movie making references throughout. International Brotherhood of Second Assistant Directors Window Fun fact: this was the first cartoon where Donald Duck is featured in his blue sailor hat!ģ. This is a tribute to the 1939 Donald Duck cartoon that features Donald Duck as an autograph hunter in Hollywood. There’s a billboard on Hollywood Boulevard that says “The Autograph Hound”.
